Hi. I'm looking to change my Triumph high level carbon exhaust for a legal alternative. Have been scouring the web, and come across several - Scorpion / Acroprovic? (both seem pricey?!) / Trident or Wolf / Blue flame. I especially like the Blue flame evo dual vent carbon pipe (seems good value at £280) but would really appreciate any comments / views / experiences iro any aftermarket cans. Any pointers regarding remapping requirements also welcome.
Thanks for any help,

DoctorW. :chug:

Opinions seem to vary widely as to which is best etc though Wolf (Now Trident for Triumph) beat every other brand in the MCN test but most of the good name brands are all good

Bear in mind Akrapovic dont do a high level if you want to keep that look and at over £400 are very expensive in the UK...
The Blue Flame is a well made pipe though power gains are limited but I guess that's not so important if you're looking at a legal pipe
Trident are obviously my choice because I make them but we do specialise in Triumph so get the best power and fit in my opinion but it's all subjective really.
I will note that we can do a legal high pipe for you in titanium or carbon for £279 or a low pipe for £259 and you wont need to change the tune...

I have a Quill T3, round stainless low level pipe. It's road legal but growls nicely at higher revs. It's lighter and smaller than the OE can, and runs fine without changing the tune.

I use a high level exhaust from italy. G&G titanium. I found them on redracingparts.com. The other night at bike night i had 3 notes left on my bike asking about those cans.

i have dual carbon wolf cans. i like the fact that peter from wolf is part of our forum. he was even going to make a custom "extra loud" exhaust for one of our members....which i may have to switch to at some point. anyway, wolf makes a good product and any manufacturer who actively monitors and responds to questions on our forum gets a double bonus in my mind...and he's even given the flip side on competitive products.
