I've just read an article from T.W.O (Two Wheels Only) mag, where one of the staffers has a S3 longtermer. Below is a link to a scan of the article. Download it and print away...

T.W.O Article on S3 brakes

GOOD LUCK

I'm having a little problem with the firewall at work here. Could you give us a cut and paste of the relevant info?

Thanks,

Backs up what my dealer told me that I relayed to you guy's on another thread!! The issue is known and it is up to the dealer to take care of it!! But my guess is that most shops that you guy's have to deal with are like the car dealerships!
" NOPE NEVER HEARD THAT PROBLEM" or " I HAD MY BEST MECHANIC TAKE A LOOK AND HE FOUND NOTHING WRONG!"
The only thing that does is give the manufacturer a bad name for the sake of a lazzzzzzy shop! Good luck and I'll stick with my 03 that has had no issues with the brake :hammer:

If i just give you a cut and paste of the relevant text then it would carry no weight with your dealer if you choose to take it up with them. But printing out an article from a prominent bike magazine on the subject should make them wake up and smell the coffee.

For the article to be readable the scan is far to large to put up on this thread. If you send me an email address i will forward it on.

I agree that would be ideal, but I was just wondering what the fix was. If it's easy and cheap, it probably won't take much more convincing than "I heard it on a forum." If it's gonna cost the dealer some money and effort, then it's a different story.

Anyway, I'll give you a PM with my email address. Thanks,

too bad it's a crappy jpg. can't copy and past the text as it's just a raster image (not pdf or html). if there is a pdf point me to one and i'll post it.

Good article... But the side stand thing is a bit much... Just use your toe... I do it all the time as my heels on my Sidi boots won't let the lower heel touch the knobby...
