wow, sorry about the pics first time around...
Thanks for all the comments
Now for some answers.
DwarF: Yes it should clear the tire. With 5.5" of travel at the axle it will clear at full compression, JUST barely. With no passenger its a non issue, though it should be ok. If it does interfere it wont be catastrophic, just a little smoke.
Also the pipes are not wrapped, they are ceramic coated.
Skydakine:
1. For the license plate bracket, did you just remove the previous plastic assembly and screw your fabricated piece into the existing threaded holes?
Yes, the HUGE steel plate is gone too. The TailTidy mounts using 2 4mm screws in the remaining small fender (the pointy one).
2. Do the exhaust tips exit onto the underside of the seat pan or are there bent tips that redirect the exhaust away from the seat and more horizontally towards the rear of the bike?
They do have turn-downs on the ends so they exit horizontal.. However, I am going to extend them more so it aims down another 15-20 deg.
If you ever get your bike on a dyno, would you share the results with the RAT gang? I for one would like to see if your system outperforms the TORS.
Yes, however I wouldnt count on it... I would do a comparo, TORs vs mine one the same bike or the numbers are useless to me. I think both pipes could benefit from some dyno tuning though (still waiting for a TuneBoy to come out.)
gobits: No heat at all, even at the fender. The muffs dont get hot at all, maybe 140 degrees? during riding, warm to the touch, not hot. There is no thermal mass to retain heat so it dissipates very quickly. THe only parts that get hot are the pipes, and end caps.
TrackerOldGuy: Heres what I went went by, also my source for the raw mat.

I followed that except for the shrink tape they reccomend, that ***** is useless. I substituted that with boat shrink wrap (I have hook-ups). I also suggest, the peel ply, and absorber mat. That will allow you to get a better resin/fiber ratio for a lighter, stronger product. PM or e-mail me if you want more detail
