Was wondering if any of the local RATS (or loco RATS if you aren't local but still making the trip :-D ) were planning on riding this weekend or next during Bike Week (April 1-9)? With all of the events pretty much a cruiser-fest, it'd be nice to hear some triples over the din of the long stroke V-twins.

Chime in if you'd like to hook up, or if you already know of something going on. It'd be nice to put a face to some of the names in here!

Not this year for me. Hopefully 2008. A great reason for a long ride.

Hello all,

I am up for a ride but am not available until during the week at night. If we can make something happen that would be great.

If any/ all are interested we can hook up somewhere centrally and then cruise westworld or anywhere where something is going on.

We can also possibly set something up for next weekend. I live in north Peoria. I will check back on this post often.

P.S. I'll leave the harley in the barn :-D :hammer:

Lets pencil something in for next Saturday then! Let me know what you guys think you can swing. Right now my whole day is open. And next Saturday gives Ton a week to drag his butt out here from VT. :-D

We can work out the details as the list firms up. FYI I'm NW Phx.

Haven't been out to Bartlett on the S3 yet. Hope the long arm of the law was absent or at least kind to you Brett.

Jon

Would be cool to meet some fellow S3 riders from here! I'm hoping to meet up with Corners easter weekend. We're both planning on being at Deal's Gap that weekend. Maybe since he's coming from Wisconsin, him and Ton can meet up, head down to NC, and then all 3 of us could roll out to Arizona! :-D If I could only manage to talk my boss into giving me a few weeks off!!! Maybe one day. All of you guys keep me in mind if you ever head to Deal's Gap. I'm about 4-1/2 hrs away, I'd be more than happy to meet some people up there! :upthumb:

I'm always up for a ride, and a few buddies I ride with have s3's too so I could give them a shout. AZSBK have a big ride on the 29th too, out to Sedona, all European bikes. There is normally a good turn out, of at least 30-40 bikes.

It does tend to be the H-D and custom chopper crowd, but I saw a Foggy Monster and a smattering of sport bikes at Paul Yaffe's party on Saturday. Most of the folks aren't sure what to make of people like me on a S3 or my Guzzi. They're particularly surprised to see that motorcycles actually are made to lean into a turn. ;-)

SatanSK9--I had no idea that AZBK organized those types of rides. Is there some way to get on a distribution list? Thanks!

AZvtx, I'm not sure mate, but if you call them up and ask to speak to Dwayne. He organises it all, he and I and a few others normally ride together on Saturday nights to the Pavillions, and the more European bikes we get together, the better. They normally contact you if you have bought your bike from them, if not it is just word of mouth, eurpean bikes mostly, even a few Ricers go too. If you have any questions about the ride, or you can't get in touch with Dwayne, email me at satansk9@hotmail.com

I was at AZ bike week in 2004 with my RS. My parents live in Casa Grande 6 months a year and 6 months a year here in WI. I was also at the Red Rocks Raid last year with my 03 Triple. Lots of good roads out there
