I think Triumph must buy oil coolers and radiators from whoever is the cheapest supplier at the time of assembly. I had to have a little repair work done on my radiator (don't ask..). When I got the radiator off to take to the radiator shop I noticed a familiar little emblem stamped on the radiator. After I found my reading glasses for a clearer view
....what's that...? KTM...? Yep, KTM was stamped on the radiator on both sides. An Austrian radiator on a British bike, talk about outsourcing!

I have noticed that the apparently bigger oil coolers are narrower than those with fewer rows. The capacities of both coolers are probably not too different. It may be because my bike has the smaller oil cooler, but I actually prefer the look of it to the bigger coolers. I reckon it makes it look even more "minimalistic". Plus the downpipes are more in view.
