G'day all
I have just picked up my new 05 S3 - bloody fantastic.
This bike is the first sport bike i have owned, so i'm learning new stuff every day. Does anyone know where i can see a chart of a dyno run of a stock 05 S3 ? Just curious to see the shape of the curves - all i seem to find is maximum numbers.

dave

Congrats on the new bike Dave. All I've got are dyno charts from bike mags but i don't know if they are with TOR pipes or standard ones.

If no one posts any of their own I'll scan and post them on this tread for you

BTW where abouts in OZ are you?

G'day Sparti

thanks for the reply - I'm based in Sydney, down Cronulla way. I see you're Melb based mate, great riding around there hey ! I did a 2 week trip with my old man (nearly 70 yo and still getting out on the bike most weekends) from Syd to Melb through Gippsland region and then out to Port Campbell along the great Ocean road and back up through geelong then across to Phillip Island / mornington peninsula back up the coast to Sydney. What a trip !

I'd really appreciate the charts mate if you can scan them, or if you have the name of the publication where the articles appeared i can try and look up on the net. I'm actually still trying to understand how horsepower, torque, engine speed all work (i'm a late starter !) but i read that the Speed Triple had "a good deal of "useable" horsepower so i'd like to see the chart to get an understanding of that. Heaps to learn, lots of fun !
