I am having a hard time finding a new S3 at a dealership in Arkansas or Oklahoma since I live in both places. I am shorter and wanted to test ride one but the dealerships will only order one for a deposit and the ones coming in are sold before hand so nobody get's to mess with them. Well please give me your info. I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and weight 190 lbs. I would like to be able to touch the ground with out a problem. thanks

I don't think you'll have a problem. I'm 5'9" and can almost have both feet flat on the ground when I'm stopped.

Have you tried other bikes with a similar seat height? The S3 is fairly slim so if you feel OK on a four-banger with the same seat height, you'll be just fine.

I'm 5'6" and the Speed Triple is just fine for me. I can't flat-foot, but I don't feel uncomfortable on one foot at a stop.

ok thanks guys, I was kind of worried since Buell has seat heights starting at 28.5 inches, and yes I can fit on the big 4 strokes but their uncomfortable big time. I appreciate it.

Other Motorcycle: 97 Bandit 600. Sold & missed.
You're about 1cm higher than me and I don't have any problem with the triple!
If that's your major drawback then you can just forget about it (edit: sometimes what sounds good in Portuguese comes out dubious in English: I meant to say you can forget the drawback, not the triple!)!!!
Happy tripling!

Rhino, I am 5'9" And need about 40mm under my boots to
flat foot it. I have ordered a 50mm shorter Hagon shock.
