OK here's the story...
I went up a kerb and hit the bottom of my belly pan which caused it to flex, putting stress on the the rear left side bolt, the end result was the bolt pulling through the plastic leaving ruddy big hole.
$495.00AU ($355.00US) for a new one is a hard pill to swallow when the pan is otherwise spotless. So fix it i shall.
I'm in the process of welding it back together but i need a mold to build around. I have this reusable molding rubber that i use to get the shape i need but because i have a gaping hole i need the use of another belly pan.
For me to get a mold the process takes no more than 10 min, 5 of that is taken up by heating up the rubber. This process does not damage in anyway the paint or any other aspect of the belly pan.
If there are any Melbourne 1050 riders out there that can help i would really appreciate it.
BTW I've asked the local dealers and they have none in stock, or so they say.
