Finally got the triple out yesterday and today, temps in the forties, still allot of snow on ground, honestly, what is it about this bike that i just cant get myself to point it home,Out there freezing to death and having a blast.Between the exhaust note and power and startled looks on the cagers faces I think I got frost bite on all extremities(yep, there too)...come on spring!

I took out my 74 BMW out saturday as well, it was in the 40's but mostly sunny, and there is snow on the ground. Not too much salt or sand on the road either. I rode about 70 miles. Had a cup of coffee and returned home. It is suppossed to snow again this week.
I can feel spring is coming soon!
Take Care!

Amen. I've been dreaming of the forties! [queue Python's "Four Yorkshiremen" sketch..."we used to dream of living in a corridor!"] This week, we're looking at about 10F in the morning and highs of 30F in Alberta. Sighhhhhhhh

We don't always have ideal weather here in NC in the winter, but have to admit, this winter's been a mild one! My 1st ride of the year was New year's day! Haven't slowed down too much since. I've put 2000 miles on my bike thru the winter months with just moderate riding here and there when it's decently warm. Hopefully you guys way up in the North will get some decent weather soon! Here's to riding! :chug:

Finally finished putting my 95 S3 back together and took her out for a quick run this weekend. I've only owned it for a year, and I almost forgot how loud it can be and how much power it has!
Everything seemed to be functioning properly, with the exception of a new noise coming from the lower part of the engine, I have no clue what it could be seeing that all I did to the engine was pull the water pump out/and back in, and change the oil/filter. Its not the water pump and there's oil....
But yes, I've got the fever once again and can't wait to do some real riding! Anyone here ride in the NJ/NY area? I'm looking around for "new" good spots to ride...
