Hi all. New to the forum and soon to be new to Triumphs. First of all I want to say how impressed I am with the content, enthusiasm and dare I say passion exhibited by the members of this forum. Very impressive indeed.

Last year was my first year on a bike since I was a kid riding dirt bikes for fun. I bought a 2003 Monster 620 last year because the price was right; I liked the looks, sound, etc and figured it would be a good place to get my feet wet again. Well...it only took about two weeks to get bored (none of you are surprised are you?). Anyway, to make a long story short I plan to upgrade to an '06 S3 in the next couple of weeks (for obvious reasons). It should be ready to go as soon as the snow is gone and the streets are clear (I'm in Ontario, Canada and we still have snow here right now). The only thing left to decide is the colour...

I'm totally stoked about my first ride on the S3 and look forward to a few years of non-stop fun. I'll keep you updated once I take delivery along with first impressions and initial upgrades, etc.

Cheers...

Welcome! :-D

You won't regret a black S3 after you've seen enough white this year

Welcome! We have some pretty resourceful and knowledgeable folks here.

The 620 is a sweet ride!

Welcome to a fellow Canuck! I'm also on my first Triumph and have been thoroughly converted...you'll love the bike. Not to worry about the weather (it's snowing in Calgary today as well - heck, even my folks in Vancouver have snow!)...the sun'll come out tomorrow.

P.S. I agree with ES3 and Bucket - go with black!

I'll say it for the 5th time, black - it's not only faster, it's just better.

Welcome!

I'm starting to get the impression that black is a favorite . Well, it was my first choice also but I would like to see the white also...it looks great in the photos and I'm just curious if it looks as good in person. My local dealer doesn't have the white in stock so it will more than likely be the black anyway...

Oh yeah...and thx for the warm reception...
