I know I asked before but does anyone have a stock set or atleast the left side rearset and the passenger leftside as well. I lowsided the bike and scraped and bent the rearsets up. no biggie the framesliders worked great and saved most of the left side. I was thinking of aftermarket but it seems so costly and is it worth it?

J...

Once again... I've got a set of OE. Did you drop the bike again?

The Rizoma's looks nice in black, but overall they are a bit overdone to me. They are actually more expensive than the LSL's which is interesting.

To the "worth it" question. I'm very pleased with the looks and performance of my LSL's, they are leaps and bounds better than stock. But they are 5 large... NOT cheap.

If you want my OE's my original offer still stands. They are exactly as originally described.

ok I just flipped 523 bucks for the rizoma(black rearsets) and the gold fluid res. from pjsparts.com. shipping was free. can't wait to get it on I will post pics! I am liking the rizoma sprocketcover as well or maybe the carbonfiber one from jacklilley.

Can any of the aftermarket rear sets be adjusted to give a little more leg room? I have one knee that is siezing up after about 20 minutes and I would like a little less acute knee bend. A taller seat is out of the question as I am vertically challanged. I suppose another knee surgery is the final solution but don't want to do that if I can avoid it.

Yes, but I thought the most relaxed position they can be adjusted to is still closer to the seat than the stock pegs?

Martin,
You're correct about the adjustment. All of the rearsets you'll find will go from stock position to farther back and farther up, and combinations of the two.
I have sold rearsets to guys looking for more leg room, and apparently going farther back helps. It doesn't sound like it would, but the guys with long inseams are pleased..
I would suggest you try to find someone who has a set you can try the postition on. though tht eRizoma rearsets are great pieces, it's an expensive mod if it doesn't help your knee problem!

Thanks guys, looks like I'll have to flag down any S3s I see riding by to see if they have rearsets. Those Rizomas really look sweet.

Anybody in the Greenville, SC area have them? Send me a PM.
