The bike is equipped with TOR's, 20087 map, and PC. There's a graph of the results on the last page of the Photo Album Submission Area. Don't seem to have privilege to copy it into this post. 118 hp, 75 ft-lb. A little higher than some of the previously reported numbers, not sure why. I wanted to use the 20087 map because I suspect it may bump the timing up a little. Unfortunately, there are no maps published for the 20087 so I just started with a zero PC map. The tuner spent most of the time working on the WOT correction, you can see the results on the A/F ratio. I wanted him to do more part throttle pulls but it didn't happen. They basically do a run rolling the throttle on as the engine comes up in rpm. He ended up enrichening the midrange by 10-15%. The only lean area looked to be in the upper rpm range with a lot of throttle.
The bike seemed to run rich to me before adding the PC. It doesn't really make sense based on his corrections but it doesn't have those symptoms any more. After several hundred miles there is no soot around the outlet and no rich exhaust odor. Makes me wonder if it has something to do with the O2 sensor which gets disabled with the PC.
I don't mind sharing the PC map if somebody wants it. I'm just not real proud of the results in the mid range with part throttle.

is that at the rear or the crank? I am pretty ticked that triumph advertised the new triple gets 130 at the wheel when infact it doesnt come close!

Eh? Where did you see 130 rwhp? I only ever saw claims of 128hp at the crank...

Ya, Triumph never claimed 130 RWHP... 128 crank. His dyno looks exactly like mine, very linear all the way up...

I was happy with the peak hp and torque numbers. Not sure how much the TOR's are worth, maybe 2 or 3 hp. If the timing is bumped up with the 20087 map that would show up in throttle response but not necessarily peak power. The only question I had was on the rpm's. The maintenance manual says the rev limiter kicks in at 10,900. On the dyno it cut out at around 9,500. That's about where the shift lights are set but I didn't think that incorporated a rev limiter.

The limiter is somewhere below 10000rpm (9700?). It has nothing to do with the shift lights. Stock rwhp should be somewhere in the 113-115hp if the factory claimed 128-130 crank hp is anywhere near the truth. So your 118rwhp with cans is right where it should be. Congratulations.

I've actually seen a tick over 10k rpm when my revlimiter kicks in? Maybe 10,100 or 10,200, but I know it's slightly over 10k. They shouldn't vary like this from bike to bike, all of that should be the same, unless someone has altered their's, what gives?
