I just recieved my Alpinestars TZ-1 one piece leathers. Got them on sale @ motostrano for 599.00. WOW, great piece of kit. Fit is excellent and the quality is hands down, excellent. For the $$ this suit is great. Style is cool too, not too over the top. I can see this suit getting LOTS of miles, track and road.

What suit do you wear???

Geof, dude, you crack me up everytime you buy something! I don't know what you do for a living now, but you ought to look into commercials, you'd be good at it! Thanks for the reports though! I'm still on my Joe Rocket Speedmaster(2 piece) Nicky Hayden replica that I've had for like 4 years now! Hey Geof, how 'bout posting some new pics up of your ride? I haven't seen any of your "black out" project, or with your staintunes on her. Btw, how do I start up a frigg'n album so I can post some pics of mine?

I wear Vanson two-piece (black) leathers, BMW boots, and Held gloves.

Curmudgeon, what Held gloves do you have? After I went down a couple of years ago wearing some cheaper gloves that got chewed, I got a pair of the Galaxy's. Top quality. Funny how, after an accident, people seem to upgrade the safety gear!

I have the Steve gloves, which is a funny coincidence, in that my name is Steve. I've been wearing them for several years. I think they're comfortable--primarily because of the flexible kangaroo leather inner hand--and durable. I low-sided at about 65 mph two years ago (wearing pair of gloves I'd been wearing for at least 75,000 miles) and the gloves didn't wear through anywhere and all the seams held together. I broke a bone in one hand, but I don't blame the gloves for that.

I got the Galaxy's because sometimes I think that's where my head is at! Seriously, it's worth it to have good gear.

Good topic, I was just going to post a similar one asking what everbody wears and for what purpose. I picked up a Triumph Paddock jacket last year... and have a set of "black riding pants with knee "Padding"" that I got for free. Pretty much they aren't cutting what I"m looking for. The jacket rides up high, making me feel like a squids girlfriend riding with a high cut shirt showing her "do me" tatoo on the small of her back.

So, I'm looking into other options. I haven't gotten into track riding- nor do I think I will anytime soon. I'm looking for something suiting my all around needs, comfortable, versitile, and durable enough in case I go down. Oh yeah, I can't spend tooooo much on it.

Suggestions? Thanks!
