Just bought my first pair of real motorcycle boots in 15 years -BMW "Savannah"
enduro boots-dealer had them on super clearance sale and they are really nice. Gore tex
and 2 clips on the sides -they go up the leg fairly high, made of black leather w/ steel toe , and have a nice walking arounf tread on the bottom. I looked at and tried on some SIDI's and some Triumph boots but to me these were the class of the rather extensive line my dealer had in stock. They are the only ones that are wide enough for my D width. I have a pair of Alpine Stars (racing ) from some years ago but they do not offer the level of (street riding) protection I feel I need now. Just thought I would pass along my impressions of some good gear FWIW. They are made in Italy

After much searching I decided on the SIDI Vertebra's. Great boots in all situations. I have a pair of "street" boots, but my SIDI's are on my feet most of the time... Gotta love em...

Sidi B2 boot. Not all the features of the Corsa. But more than enough for the street, and good enough for the canyons.....maybe even a trackday. Come with the standard replaceable parts: toe slider, shin plate, and outter ankle protector. Do some research and you can score a pair for just over $200.00 with tax. These are probably the most comfortable(in my opinion) and don't feel bulky like some other boots I have tried.

I also have and like BMW gore-tex dual-sport boots. From your description, it sounds like mine are the same as yours.

Daytona Urbans. German quality. Extremely good foot, ankle, and lower leg protection. Great looking "engineer" type boot and very comfortable. I do a daily combined freeway/city street commute and wear mine every day. Plus, if anybody ticks you off, you can kick the living ***** out of them. :-D

Keds hightop tennis shoes. If you fall off at 200 MPH, what difference does it make? T-shirt, Harley goggles, and Bermuda shorts are cool too.
