Here we go.
After much knashing of teeth and worrying all nite, I rode to the dealer this AM and they were really great. Got new map installed called the "after market pipe with secondary air injection." WOW! It is sweet. The number is 20102 and it works with my TORS, really feels good -no backfires popping or anying else to worry me. Mid range is super -around 4,000 rpm-I cant say enough about this new program. Good stuff. Would love to dyno this one but dealer has not got one yet, but I understand it is coming!! Should be fun.

I´m going to get that map myself next week. I´m riding with Jardine slipons on my bike and now when I decrease speed it sounds like the third world war is here ...... :-D

The 12 inches long spit of fire she produces is wonderful I think, I wonder if the cars behind me also like it?????

Be aware that program may not work with your bike-there is another program available for aftermarket pipes and I do not have the number but that was the one that did not work on my bike. #20102 is good to go for me right now! Apparently these new programs are written over top of the old ones when downloaded on the Triumph set up.
They "lose" the old programs when they download with superceded programs.

Interesting, as Im getting my new map loaded next weekend.

I have the TOR mounted now and went for a short ride and it backfires very little.

I wonder what map they will give me as I dont want to turn around and drive an hour back.

Could you tell the difference right away???

Sure can-just get the mech to ride the bike a little way-- less than 1 mile is all it needs -maybe not that far. Then you ride it and you can tell instantly whether or not it works well. Run it hard and you will see. He should be able to tell immediately as well. It was like nite and day on my bike. Good luck!!

Glad to hear Hivel! I could tell a very nice difference with the TORs and remap. Now I'm running the TOR map with my Eagle 3into1, and it's running even sweeter! Gotta love that sound! :-D

Do I have to go to a dealer/service area to get that Map installed on my TORS?

Yeah I am going to be doing the dyno this upcoming weekend with a Power Commander map because the weather is supposed to be outstanding.

My S3 with the Zard and the stock map scares the hell out of people.

Did you try the fix I used? Taping off the inlet to the air injection inside the airbox. No backfires whatsoever with my Zard.
