After-market seats for the 05-06 Speed Triple

Rode the s3 to the South of France last summer and all i can say is thank god you have to fill up every 100 miles or so!
Had a look on Sargent's web site and their prices seem a little steep, or am i just being a tight arse?. I tried the Triumph gel seat on my Tiger and it made no difference to the comfort at all. :???:

I have always bought Corbin but this site seems to heavily
favor Sergent so i think that I might give them a try.
I am hoping that they can do something with a little

I have a Sargent Seat on my 02 S3 and love it. I tried the Triumph gel seat and it was a little better than the stock seat but not by much. It also got very hot sitting out in the sun and retained the heat for a long period of time which lead to a hot and I mean really hot butt. Not bad on a cold day; Hell on a hot one.
The Sargent seat is worth the money for me.

The 2005+ Triumph Speed Triple World Sport Performance Seat is tentatively scheduled to be released in May 2006 (as of March 2006).

Sounds like it will be a foam seat, not a gel seat. I went ahead and did the Pre-Registration thing as they say you will be offered an introductory price.

Yeah a better seat would be nice. I have been looking at options too, no luck so far.
