not sure if anyone would be interested in this but.....
when i converted to clip-ons i took off the "mouse ears" that pass for mirrors and used CRG's.
After i did this i was presented with the problem of what to do with the ugly holes....i did a bit of reading in these posts and found a thread about using the plastic screws from a mountain bike...i got some and tried it out and didnt think they were strong enough to hold the bracket for the brake fluid reservoir....after a ton of looking i found some alloy steel (grade 8) screws that work...they are black oxide coated and look just like the plastic ones that were talked about in the other thread. they are m10x1.25 button head cap screws....they look just like they are supposed to be there...
im not sure if anyone wants or needs some of these screws but i bought a bunch of them.....so if you want a couple just let me know. :-D

Mine began life as boring old high tensile zinc plated bolt in a hardware shop until a cut, grind and some chrome plating turned it into a work of art showing itself off in all its glory on top of the speed trip for every one to see :hammer:

go to your local bicycle shop, mt bike parts. i cant remember what they're called but its a plastis 10 mm bolt made to fill the holes left if you convert to disc brakes and have cantilever holes on the fork etc. to fill. they weigh nothing, are allen and look really clean. and yup they're plenty strong to hold the brake reservoir. best fill i've found, and thanks to whomever posted it earlier on this site.

hey scottst, I hope you still have some more! I need one baaaaaad! I just need one, because I turned the left side upside down to where you don't even see the hole, and have an awful eyesore holding on the brake res right now. Please let me know if you can send me one and how much, thanks!!!

I'd like two also. Or how about the URL or phone number where you bought them. I' be willing to buy a handful myself and distribute out also (good Karma points). :-D
