well its been colder than usual for the past few nights, 18 to 20 or so, and i havent ridden for a few days. today i noticed coolant leaking from the head gasket area on the left side of the engine, just a few drops running down the case really, not enough to form a puddle on the floor. i saw earlier messages about seepage in cold parts of the country from hose clamp fittings, it doesnt usually get below freezing in my part of oregon. any experiences with actual gasket seepage? thanks.

Funny you should bring this up. I was out working in the "garage" today and noticed that the seal on the pump was leaking a little. Like you discribed, it wasn't enough to drip on the floor, but just enough to notice with a wipe of the finger. Its about 20ยบ here, maybe that has something to do with it...

I have been noticing the same same thing the past two days. It is leaking out where the hose goes in. But it doesn't leak when riding or after parking. But some point that night when the temp dips around the 20's (f) is leaks a little.
