I love the look and sound of the Triumph cf exhaust, but I'm off to Austria (via Holland - not sure which country is next in line after Holland!! - I get lost going from one room to the next!!) in July and wondered if anyone who has made this trip, or similar trips had any trouble from the various local constabularies iro the volume. The exhaust doesn't seem excessively noisy to me, but I've heard that some countries (France especially apparantly) are getting real hot on this issue - I don't want to get to Holland and get put straight back on the boat!! Any experiences / advice + general riding abroad pointers??
Thanks,

DoctorW. :chug:

Was just in France, and although I was not on a motorcycle, all my friends there say that the French police are getting BRUTAL on noise and also on speeding.

Boy, talk about taking away all the fun of the motorways!

Ah, the Frogs are at it again! Maybe the Muslim Bikers have them upset? Couldn't they just be sweet and let the bikers alone? Ask me about the French sometime-I lived there for a year a long time ago. (DeGaulle era) They cant handle their real problems so they do the easy thing and persecute the average folk. (sound sort of USA familiar?)

watch out for the Gendarme!!
