i bought the power commander from dynojet for ~$400+ for the 05+ speed triple 1050. this is more than some websites sell it for but this includes the O2 sensor thing (sorry to use such big words)...
i have since changed my mind and am going to wait for the tuneboy to come out.
they want to charge me a 15% restocking fee.
i never installed it or anything.
i am offering it to someone here for what i paid for it (i will include my invoice too) just so i dont loose my 15%.

if anyone is interested please let me know.

this is brand new i have never taken it out of the box.
the bill i got with shipping was $407 witch is $399+s&h.
like i said i was just offering it here to avoid a 15% restocking fee.
i can send it back to them and get more than $299.
i understand wanting to save money, but likewise i would want my money back, you understand, right?

thanks,
aaron

I hate to tell you this but you can buy a new PC usb or III for $269.00 plus shipping on a few websites. If it were me I'd keep the PC, install it, and get to tuning. It's not rocket science. You'd be very surprised how you can make your bike run better just by a little number changing in the MAP. Send me whatever MAP you have now and I'll tweak it for you. Free.

i was told i paid extra for the O2 sensor blank thing???

i was thinking about waiting for the tuneboy, my dealer said you should be able to do way more with it than the pcIII.

what advantages do i have with this PCIII? i might think about keeping it if i get a really good reason....

and how will it affect my once i install the nitrous? i just got the kit in the mail yesterday!!!! i am excited to get it on!!!

You can tell the fuel injection how much fuel to send to the engine at any throttle position. I have no experience with tuneboy.
I can tell you that everyone with a turbo Busa uses the PC usb. I've never heard of anyone using a tuneboy. Detonate one time while under boost and it's all over with so an accurate MAP with alot of time spent getting the A/F ratio exactly right is very important.
Remember, the Tune Boy and the PC will not make your bike run better. The MAP programmed to the TB or PC is what makes the bike run better. Any generic MAP is exactly that. It's a starting point to begin your tuning. Either unit you use will need to be tuned which means dyno time with a sniffer. If you just run a generic MAP then you'll never see the full potential of the TB-PC or your bike.
If you are going to be running N2O then you will have to tune your TB or PC to be rich at 100% throttle. If your going to run a dry N2O system then rich at 100% throttle is mandatory. If you run a wet system with a stand alone fuel pump then you'll leave 100% throttle alone as if it naturally aspirated.
Hope this helps, Mad`

TuneBoy is far superior in almost every way in my opinion, Unfortunately I have heard no indictaion that there will be support for the 1050's.

PC will prolly help but way more crude and 'ghetto' than the TB. Its nothing more than resistors to fool your ECU. It may be the only option though.

And for less money the TuneBoy is a no-brainer to me.
