Spark Plugs on the '05 S3

The manual states that the plugs installed in my bike are NGK-CR9EK. This is a multi-ground plug. I have read that, in some cases, a multi-ground plug may perform worse than a traditional plug. My question is if I switched to a Denso Iridium plug when I do my Spring Tune-Up would it effect performance or cause harm to the engine?

If you dont like the dual electrode just go to a CR9E. I've used both in my YZF and cant tell the difference. The wallet can though. THose EK's are pricey.

Unless you want the Iridium ones cause you think it will go faster.
