I just checked the maps for some carbon can co aftermarket silencers on the powercommander page and I noticed something weird. All the maps stock cans, aftermarket cans and aftermarket cans with baffles have the 100% throttle top end leaned from stock. Why is it so? The only logical explanation is that the thing is choked on the intake side. Is it the filter, the airbox or the pair valve stuffed almost inside the intake snorkels. I have already repositioned the snorkels but I cannot test it until spring.

Don't know, I've only had the air box apart once and it didn't seem particularly cramped. These maps must be new, within the last month or so. I've got the 20087 map and will put it on the dyno first chance I get.

I would guess that the maps (Triumph) are excessively rich on top, to the point where even aftermarket cans dont increase air flow enough to get a good AFR.

Why don't you just richen the MAP 3 to 5 numbers at a time at 100% throttle only, and see how the bike runs? It's very easy to customise your own MAP and you can always go back to your original MAP if you get lost.
