I have a tinted shield for my shoei tz-1 helmet but am looking for some glasses to wear also. What pair do you guys wear? Suggestions? Short of going out and trying them all one I'd like to make a good decision! Are interchangable lenses worth it (other than the changeable clear lens for use with the tinted screen)

If you're wearing a full face helmet, make sure to not get any glasses/goggles which have the foam around the lenses. Some Wiley-X glasses have this and it will be a PITA and keep the glasses fogged when the weather is colder or hotter than ideal.

I wear prescription glasses with light-adjusting lenses so I just throw those on behind my clear shield. I have a pair of Wiley-X glasses as well as my Nike flexon glasses and like both a lot.

Oh, don't bother with Zooke. Get a Foggy mask from Respro to keep your glasses and shield from fogging up. Its only like $15-20 and is worth every penny.

I use a mirror shield on sunny days and a clear shield at night. I do wear prescription yellow tint glasses all the time.

Try different glasses and see how they feel in your helmet. you want them to be comfortable and secure.

Because the sun never shines in michigan,I run a clear shield all the time and smith slider toasters under.Depending on day you can switch lenses in a snap and the small size of toasters isnt bothersome.

I've had very bad results usng polarized lenses behind a face shield. It produced odd patterns superimposed on back windows of cars, and tar strips seem 3 dimensionsal. A very disorienting effect. Maybe it was a cheap shield or cheap glasses, but I'll never try it again.

I wear Oakley Five's under my helmet. They are very close fitting and keep as much wind off my eyes as possible when I am riding in town with the sheild open. They are also light and durable--which is good when I drop them whilest trying to take them out/put them away with my gloves on.

What he said. Don't bother. Hard to see the digital display(s) too.

Smith Sliders. I always wear shades under the helmet, cuz as soon as the speeds drop in town, the shield comes up. Love the flexibility that sliders offer for different times of day. Definitely do not wear polarized. Everything up top is true, plus they produce a shimmer effect on the inside of the shield.
