Speedometer Problem

Not a major problem but one that pops up every now and then. I usually garage my bike during bad weather so when it's time to get back on it, usually after a couple of days, my speedo just sits on 0 no matter what speed I take it to. I sometimes have to stop the bike, turn off the ignition and restart to get my speedo working again. Anyone with a similar problem and if so how to rectify.

There is lots of dead speedo discussion over on T595.net. I don't remember the "fix", but I think it's an electrical issue at the speedo end. Do a search there and I'm sure you'll find a ton of posts on the issue...
