Replacement S3 Headlight Bulbs

Hello All,

Has anyone replaced their factory headlight bulbs? If so...with what, and where did you get them.

I replaced mine with Xenon white bulbs available from most auto accessory shops or petrol stations, they give out 30% more light, so when the idiots coming the other way blind you, you can flick the switch and give them a taste of their own medicine.

They are the same wattage as the oem bulbs so no problem with overheating etc

I have had very good luck with the Phillips bulbs. They are not as expensive as PIAA and provide the same look/brightness. I have also found that PIAA's only last about a year before needing replacement. I bought the Phillips bulbs at Cyclegear. Another good choice is Sylvania Silverstars.

I also replaced my bulbs with Phillips Extra White or so.
Here you can see the difference after half the job :wink:

Glad you found that link. I tried to find my original post on the Adjure's but couldn't. Am I the only one for which the search function does NOT work? :hammer:

I always click on the advanced seach and type in the name of something that I know is in my post and then type in my user name or the name of the author of the post. If I can remember which forum I posted it in, I select that as well. That's the only way I have been able to get useful results when I conduct a search...

Advanced search? It's kind of embarrassing having to ask...I'm a programmer!

But I don't see an advanced search.

No worries... It took me about a year of using this forum to discover that feature...

Cilck on the Sport & Touring discussion forum link in the main menu area...

scroll to the bottom of the page...

next to the search box there is a hot link in brackets that says Advanced Search...

Clicking on it will take you to a page where you can enter the Key Word, Forum and Authors Name. You can also select how to sort the results.
