Here's mine in white. I guess it wouldn't look quite as nice in a background of snow.

Would someone please tell me where I can get some replacement mirrors that fit into existing threads of lever brackets, but extend beyond bar ends? I'm frustrated just seeing what's to either side of me and not what's about to ram me from behind.

Im not ready for a new bike yet (mines 05), but that white is SWEET! I cant imagine how many miles a year id put on my bike if I lived in HI. It might be overdone but the bar end mirrors look and work good for me. I have the CRG and they fit perfectly.

Hey Skydakine,

I have ZRX1200 kawasaki mirrors. They don't appear to extend much further than the originals, but I get a much better view than before. I am fairly broad across the shoulders, but with a slight flex of my elbow inwards I can get a full view behind. Its not the perfect solution but I am happy with it, and I am someone who hates not being able to see behind.

The ZRX mirrors are the same thread as Triumph.

The Benelli TNT (FAR 5499) mirrors work for me (thanks ES3 for the tip). Probably much like Legman's ZRX mirrors, not perfect, but much, much better than stock.

Marco is great to deal with, answers his emails in English, invoices via PayPal. $114 shipped when I bought them.

Oh, I don't know. I think it would look fine there. But I'm sure it's a lot happier being in Hawaii. Classy bike and classy photo, Skydakine.

Thanks Hotmailjerk, Legman, and left360. I'll check them all out and I really appreciate your suggestions. The S3 is such a cool bike, I can only imagine Triumph designing such dorky mirrors to comply with DOT regs. But then why not design them so you can see directly behind you? I'll post pics of my solution when it's done.
Aloha, and keep on smiling!

Have the CRG Lane Split bar ends on mine. I really like them and kick myself for waiting so long to buy them. Not cheap but worth it in my opinion.

Check out the mirrors on the photo submitted by "nours" on the "Post pics of your Speed triple NOW" topic. It's on page [4] of today's messages. I've surfed the web and haven't found any that look like those yet. Anyone have a clue where to get these?
