Was wondering if any of you had happy passengers as I am (a little) worried my wife will not be comfy on the back ....just trying to satisfy a curiosity..might have to buy a seperate bike to go duo !!

Don't do pillions on the S3 The Trophy is for that. Told the wife it's a single seater.

My wife likes the upright riding position of the S3 over the ZX6R I had previously.

Just took the wife on the bike for the first time last weekend and she did not like it. The problem is really threefold, she had a nagging back injury, it was chilly out, and she felt like she was going to fall off the back. I think if she got use to it she would like it more, but she did state my old Speed Four was more comfortable.

My wife hates the S3 and the gpz, she sits too high and the wind smacks her in the head, the only bike she feels ok on is the Virago and thats cos its much lower and she has the sissy bar to lean against, she's not too happy with me cos I took the stock apehangers off and fitted some 4" risers and a flat MX bar downturned, this causes me to ride leaning forward and she says she gets more wind now,

can't win either way, unless I get a car!!!!!!!!!

my wifey doesn't mind the rear. ( i mean...)
of course the s3 rear seat keep your wife's ass in check. made for nice, small asses.
i'm waiting to see photos of the first girl that gets caught in the rear wheel well from a random bump in the road on a S3 that's had the back fender removed...

My wife actually loved it! Of course she's used to the back of a R1, and they have no padding for the passenger, and they sit way higher than the S3. But she said she could do an all day ride with me. I doubt it though, that usually consists of atleast 250 miles. I'm hoping to see how many I can do in a day when I go to Deal's Gap this easter. I've done 400 on my R1 up there before, so I'm hoping I can get a 500 out of the S3! I'm loving it! :-D

I removed the passenger pegs when I went for the high mount TBR pipe. I would like to get a 1200 Trophy for two up.

I made up my own footrest mounts from tubular steel and then put the rear pegs on that. Transformed the ride and now my wife finds it as comfortable as my ZRX. And it lowered the seating position so i don't feel like I'm wearing a full rucksack on my back. Everything from weight distribution to handling was dramatically improved.
