I just got my '99 Speed Triple back from it's 12k service and noticed there were two items fixed under warranty. On the service ticket it reads T1241260 CONN and T1241270 CONN. I didn't notice before I left on the bike or I would have asked the dealer. Anyhow, I figured I'd get a quicker answer on this site anyway.

Also, here's a break down of the expense if anyone's interested. I wish I could have performed the work myself, but my mechanical skills are limited to the routine oil changes and chain cleanings and not much more.

Labor for 12,000 mile service $360.00
New K&N high-flow filter $47.95
New oil filter $12.95
Oil $48.00
Washer for oil pan plug $1.00
New throttle cable $34.63
New valve cover gasket $46.39
New fuel filter $40.00
New brake fluid $5.95
New engine coolant $14.95
3 new spark plugs $8.85
Shop supplies $2.00
Labor for throttle cable install $30.00
EPA disposal $5.00
Tax $21.67
Total Bill $679.34

Getting my bike back in tip-top condition: PRICELESS!
:-D

Those part numbers are replacement male aluminum fuel connectors where the fuel lines hook to the tank. The originals were plastic and prone to breaking. I looks like they only replaced the male connectors but the female connectors are plastic also and should be replaced but they are not covered under warranty.

I'm going to show your list to my wife so she will know how much money I save by doing all that stuff myself. Maybe she will let me buy something else with the money.

So I take it all valves were in spec since no cost for shims?

The price was pretty close to that here, maybe a bit less. I also had no shims off spec on my 03.
