Has anyone fitted a shorter-throw throttle cable to a Speed Triple? I'm thinking it would be nice to have a 3/4 throttle instead of having to crank my wrist all the way down to achieve max acceleration. Thanks!

The '05+ thottle has a shorter throw than previous models. Perhaps a retrofit would work?

There is an Enlish guy on t595 named Tony Woodhouse that makes quick turn throttle mods for the newer 2 cable setups. There are a few threads on the subject. I gave Kuhlka the info, and he got no reply from his email. Give it a try, you may get a hold of him. Just click on his name, and email him.

I'm definitely going to start bugging that guy again as the weather warms up. I think getting on t595 and posting on the forums on top of emailing him will give a better chance of reaching him. I actually got a few emails back from him, but when it came time to do the final order stuff he just stopped responding. Perhaps he just forgot about me? lol.
