Cheap Weight Saving

Well it's new years, and my resolution is to have a lighter ride by spring. The cheapest way I can see is to drop this gut. I weighed myself yesterday...I am 215 lbs! I should be about 195 lbs.
So I am writing this for some accountability. I just ate my first bowl of oatmeal, so it has begun.
Anyone going to join me?
Cheers!

Good luck with the weight loss, I was about 180 lbs several years back and am at where I should be now at around 155 to 160 (only 5' 9"ish) I added some more fruits and veggies and stuff but I think just making sure I got out to the gym regularly and more than anything just ate a little less at every meal than I usually would helped the most. That way I didn't have to drastically change my diet since it wasn't all that bad to begin with. Moderation is the key!

MY WEIGHT's good , I'm 5'9 and float between 155 - 163 , depends on how much beer I'm drinking ... I work out 5 to 6 days a week , hard core ,and eat pretty healthy ( I actually like oatmeal ) .. but at age 52 I don't think I'll ever see the coveted 6 pack again , I like the other kind of 6 pack better : )
GOOD LUCK and stick with it , the weight will come off ......

I'm lucky, have a high motabolism rate, and I don't work out per se unless you call cutting, splitting, and hauling wood to keep warm working out, and I walk a lot with my dog (no running any more, knees say 'I don't think so' ". Also I get that extra little walk in just by not parking as close as possible to the door of the store I'm going to. Good luck to you.

Haha I've been thinking this; 2 weeks into a training program and hurting like hell. 135kgs (300lbs for the 'Mericans) @6'1 - ex rugby player so it's not all fat but getting close to. I figure pulling this down to the 100kg mark should liven up the speed experience!
