HyperPro steering damper on 11+?

Hello,

Is anyone running one on an 11+?
I'm trying to confirm if the mounting kit for 05-08 is going to fit on a 12 R.

Found a site and this is the closest mount i found listed for S3 but it mentions 05-08>

SPEED TRIPLE 1050 / 05-08> / SD MOUNTING KIT UNDER LOW. TR. CLAMP / SD STROKE 75 REVERSED / MK-TR10-B001

I'm thinking that should work but would love a confirmation.

The std forks are the same width as the ohlins on the R right?
Same lower triple tree I imagine?

I emailed the vendor and they were not sure and said factory closed until the 8th.

Appreciate any info.
Thanks!

Crap, having a closer look at my bike the brake lines go into a square block right near the radiator mount. Not sure if thats an R thing, an ABS thing, or an 11+ thing, but im starting to have my doubts.

You don't need one on a Speed Triple. Its one of the most stable bikes around. Unless you're planning on ruining it with clip-ons anyway

I might not need one but i think i want one. Never had a bike without one and not sure i wana start. I'll accelerate hard and put a wheelie down crooked or something stupid.

Whats up with that tank slapper vid a few pages in then?
F**k all that!

Thanks!
I found that one after more searching. Prefer the HyperPro but the Matris seems nice and will fit.

Ive landed plenty of wheelies with the wheel sideways, as long as
you dont have a death grip on the bars its fine.

Bikes that are inherently unstable in their design require dampers, not a naked beast. Pretty much anything with actual bars doesnt need one

^Since changing the gearing I'm now in the market for a damper; big time bar wobble on hard corner exits.
