street triple seat/subframe on 995 i speedtriple

has any one put a subframe and seat unit of a street triple on there 995 i triple to make the 995 i to look like a 1050 speed triple

Well frame is obviously different on the Street, so would doubt (but can't categorically state won't) that it will fit
But if you want it to look like 1050 S3, why not fit the 1050 parts, which WILL fit

As stated, not a bolt on mod, but you can make anything fit..

so are you saying the triple 1050 subframe, seatunit, and plastics will fit the 995i .
as if they do thats great as its only the seat unit on the 995i that puts me off them

The frame is the same, so subframe and therefor seat unit will fit
However you may also need the battery-box/inner fender - and different battery - to make it all work together.

Yea, the 1050/955i mounting points for the subframes are the same, but that doesn't mean the full tail is directly swappable. The seat/tank/body work gaps might not line up and you might have to get creative

Tail swap is on my todo list... but thats after I get happy with my glassing skills And that could take a few years. I don't wanna waste a CF on a crap job
