Kreiga vs. SW Motech Luggage

Hoping to do some touring in the Spring and have been trying to come up with the best luggage arrangement for the price.
Like the sw moteck blaze saddlebags but almost $400. Combining the Kriega 20 and 30 tail bags add up to about the same $.

Any thoughts or other options?

Many have done well with the Ventura bike pack. You can combine that with a good tank bag and tail bag.

Sw motech is better. High piles of heavy luggage on top of your tail es no bueno. I use the race pack and tank bag from sw

I'm goin the Kriega route. Have an R25 back pack and love it. For next summer's trip I'm gonna go US 30 bag with perhaps 2 10s and a tank bag. Good stuff.

Have a Kriega R20 I use every day for work and a US50 Combo (2 10's and a 30) for longer trips.

I cant vouch for the SW Motech stuff but the Kriega stuff is great and you can fit it to any bike so if you decide to part ways with your speedy (as if you would!) you can attach it to your new ride easily.

The Ventura is much easier to take off and on the bike than strapping bags on to the back seat. Plus you can get into the bags easier if needed without taking them off. Ventura bags come with a rain cover also. I have never had any problems with Ventura. Just a matter of choice.
