What would you have as a second bike?
I have a 2005 1050 Speed Triple which I love. Easily the best bike I've owned and I love its looks and performance.
But what would you have as a second bike if you could? I know we've done the what is your other bike thread, but for those of us who don't have 2 bikes already, what would it be?
I have a hankering for an 848 Ducati Evo Corse at the moment but what would you go for? And remember this is a second bike so you keep the Speedie!

If I could have kept my 2009 C14 when I traded it in Oct for the 2011 S3 I would have. The C14 was comfortable on long rides, handled great in the twisties and had 150 rwhp and 97 lbft torque, problem was it weighed 700 pounds and had a ton of plastic to take off when I needed to work on it. To me that would be the best of two worlds, the Speedie to take on trips to the mountains, and the C14 for the cross continental touring. I have made my S3 into an S3ST now :-)

Suzuki TU250x. I've had it almost three years and got my Bonneville last August.
It's a great around town bike. DC allows filtering and lane-splitting. I don't split but I do filter. The TU is lighter and more responsive and it gets me through traffic like a dream. Outside the city there's nothing better for me than the Bonnie.

I already have a second bike, it's a cafe'd Adventurer. But lately I've been thinking 800XC.

3rd Bike Actually
2013 BMW S1000RR -- Black.
Full race exhaust.
Still praying for the day someone makes a 200HP/200mph Naked bike as handsome as my 2011 S3. Not because I would go 200mph on a naked bike but because I could!

My second bike will be a 2010/2011 Daytona SE. Plan on buying one next Spring if I can find one. Third bike will be a Bonneville/Thruxton or Thunderbird Sport.

Just got my second bike a few months ago, and all I had in mind for it was track use and the occasional spirited weekend ride.
IMO, for my intentions, nothing made more sense than picking up a used 600cc Jap bike. I was able to score a 2006 636 in very good condition but in need of some TLC for $3k cash. Talk about a steal!

Wow, this is a hard decision because at this point, what I have suits me fine. If I could get more miles in, I would be looking at the Trophy or a FJR1300.
