2010 S3 gauge swap ?'s

I'm wondering if the guages off of an 11 Street Triple will work on a '10 S3.

Had an accident. Broke the screw mounts and cracked the tach cover. My gauges work, but I'm having a hard time finding the plastic to replace.

I did find an 11 Street3 gauge cluster on ebay. Also an 12 S3R, which I'm fairly certain wont work.

The St3 gauges I mentioned are for the later VIN bikes.

Will they work??

I doubt it, as even the S3 gauges do not work across generations.

But if plastic is all that is broken on your original clocks, the outer shells of similar shaped 675 & Speed Triple gauges do interchange.
-> Cheapest route would be to buy any same shape gauges, that have OK exterior, but fried innards. Then you could switch the mint plastics to your own clocks.

Is your bike a proper 2010, or one of the US importer's fake ones? As in is your broken gauge cluster of this newer shape:

For the older shape outer fascias are also available from Triumph.

It is a proper 2010.

The outer fascia you mention, is it the whole case?? As in front and back? As far as I'm aware, mine internals are good. Just the plastic covers are shot.

Have a look at World Of Triumph microfiches. I think only the front fascia is available as spare, not the back. And the fronts are available only for the older square cornered unit - not for the 2011+ sleeker shape unit.

I have seen many backs come up on ebay as people sell them because you remove them to fit the triumph screen.

hac, he needs the back plastic half of actual gauge unit. Not the decorative backing piece that interchanges with flyscreen.

I assume that the part I would need is :PFKL1212646 (#9). I'm going to give my dealer a call and see what they can do...

Ugh.

The gauges are the most frustrating thing to deal with.... everything else I needed was relatively easy to find.

If you only have broken the 3 push-in-pins, you could split the gauges and drill some bolts in their place. Just make sure you insulate the bolt heads inside the gauges with tape, so you do not short circuit the main gaugeboard.
