New FR master cylinder recommendation (Nissin or Brembo)

Hi guys,
I'm in need of a new master cylinder for my '10 S3.

So, I've been browsing and reading here. Searching ebay and looking at all kinds of sportbike websites.

I think I've boiled it down to a new Nissin 19MM radial or a Brembo 19RCS. There is another that looks nice by Accossato that seems to fall in the middle price wise. I'm sure many other options exist.

The difference seems to be (for new) about +$130 for the Brembo MC. If the Brembo is some different animal that will change my ability to stop, then I have no problem paying, if it's for the brand name, then I'm happy to stick with Nissin.

I ride the street. I'm not racing. My Nissin worked very well. is there any reason to upgrade/change?

Is the Brembo an upgrade?

I had an accident and had to replace the bars/right controls/Etc... in case you're wondering why I need this.

I had a 19mm by Braking which did the job very well.

Can't go wrong with Brembo

Any idea what other model bikes we might be able to pull one off of? I have an older model S3 and the front braking is terrible to say the least.

You will need lever to match and probably brake lines too*

* Edit - that would be for earlier model to replace pitrcer3 '99 unit
- the original on '10 (Kreuzwieser) would already have been radial, so just get replacement m/cylinder only for that one

I have the Accossato front m/c on my Speedy, and i'm pretty happy with the performance so far (3 months, 1500 miles).

You said the Nissin worked very well, so for ease of installation I'd just stick with it. Unless of course you have extra money burning a hole in your pocket and it must be branded "BREMBO".

If money is not an issue, go for the Brembo. Otherwise, I'd stick with the Nissin.

accossato is what I have...its been great.
One thing to make sure on MC is to get quality. don't buy anything that's made in China...make sure its reputed and there is quality control.
You'll need a new brake line with accossato. I think Galfer had a special, free lines with new MC last year.

there is no rebuild kit for accossato though. (only needed if you smash one to pieces)
but there is for Brembo.

19x20 for firmer feel
19x18 for less firm - almost everyone runs this for track use.

the RCS has a brake switch you can buy
if you get standard MC, you can also buy the ladybird switch via ebay.or I just made my own...using a standard switch.

gsxr used one is a good route too, Its street use, so all good.

Thanks everyone. I ended up getting a Nissin off of an '09 S3 on ebay. $122 delivered. This is by far the simplest path... no messing around. Just bolt it on. (I hope!)
