The Speedie would have one if it was green. So, does anyone know what the price difference is between the Aprillia and S3 ??

Have you ever had the opportunity to test ride the Benelli TNT 160. 1130 cc 3 cylinder 158 hp weapon. Nearly bought one, but steered back to the S3 after reading up on the bulletproof reliability and ready access to spare parts and accessories Must admit I still think the Benelli is one seriously aggressive looking bike which has standard with brembo brakes ohlins suspension and a slipper clutch. Don't regret buying the Triumph but often think it would be nice to own something a little more exotic.

I love my Benelli, don't have the 160, but it's still a beast. I imagine the extra 30 hp would be even more fun.

$2000 +/- a couple hundred bucks depending on how dealers are over/under pricing.

When I finally saw one in person it looked a little better than I expected from the pictures (I had the same reaction to the Speed also), but I agree that front end isn't pretty.

You can pick up a Tuono V4 (Non APRC) here in the UK at £8800 at the moment, maybe less with haggling. Which is £200 lower than RRP on a Speedy. Must be struggling to shift stock!

The Tuono V4 APRC is $6000 AUD over the Speed Triple in Aus, probably helping Speed sales, I know I would be on the Aprilia if it was priced a little better in Aus.

Wow, good deal! It's still 2-3000 more than the Speed R here

I haven't tried negotiating a deal so I don't know what a final sale price might be, but the nearby dealers are listing these bikes as such:

2013 Speed Triple 12,799 USD
2013 Speed Triple R 15,999 USD
2012 Tuono V4R APRC 14,999 USD

If I were buying a new bike today I'd be negotiating for the Tuono.
