Got to a servo after the fuel light had been on for about 15km - it took 15.5L filled to the brim.

Yeah, its gonna be close for you... lol

I've been wondering this myself. I rode mine yesterday until the display said I had 17miles left before I'd be pushing.

I pulled into a gas station, filled it up, but it only took 3.67 gallons. That's .83 gallons left to spare, or 3.14 Liters for you European folks.

I suppose I could tote gas to test it out, but then again I don't wanna mess up my fuel pump either.

This has been discussed several times before, search is your friend

That being said, I have gone 30+ miles after the light came on and still had some fuel left when I filled up. I would try to keep it around 30.

I have done 200 miles on a Tank many times when touring, and have done 10 miles after 0 on the display and still had 0.3 of a litre left.

+200. 4.7 gallon tank, light comes on with 1.7 still in the tank. Good for +40 miles.

Also depends on how you ride though.....

My light comes in around 150km in the city, I've pushed it 25km before.
Still only ever takes 13.7-13.9 liters from the pump, Does that seem right?

Doing the math - 4.5L/100km as an average over 18L gives you 400km range till empty.

I've got as far as 310k's before chickening out and still had a couple of litres to go...
