There is more to it than just Cd, but in the case of bikes that's the big thing hurting us. I'm afraid I'm not enough of a physicist to give you the full skinny on it all.

As for the limiter, no, all bikes do not have a limiter any more than all cars have a limiter. As far as I know, the S3 does not have a limiter other than the rev limiter, and the bike cannot reach that in top gear with stock gearing due primarily to aero drag.

Of course some bikes do have limiters, just not in this particular case.

I am roughly 5'7 and 150lbs (if my math is correct), ride an 08 with stock gearing and I have had mine at an indicated 158MPH (254km/h) a couple of times. Racing a mate with a CB1000R as we were the only two riding nakeds, normally chasing a string of CBR1000RRs/GSXR1000s/R1 and ZX14. Never got round to giving it a go with a GPS to confirm but I can tell you it isn't pleasant at that speed.
