After having my 07 done professionally I have too agree, but it did cost me $300.
I was thinking that the guy he bought the bike from just put the pipe on and didn't update the map, so this would be an easy option.

Where is Wayne located I'm thinking of getting my road bike done after the TB mods

He's not exactly going to use TuneECU so you're looking at Tuneboy License fee on top of the Tuning itself I would expect.

Yes, it's 99$ for a Tuneboy key. I'm sure if you get your bike tuned in-house, there are special rates. You will just have to contact him directly. He is in Sydney, contact info is on his website.

TuneBoy key is $199 Oz or $207 USD
If you want to be able to do anything with it afterwards, you can't just buy a key without buying the program (cable) as well - although I suppose you might just get charged the key fee if only being done in-house and you never want to mess with it yourself going forward.
The actual price of cable with key is $499 Oz
As you suggest, however, discounts might apply with in-house tuning

Jaysis!

I remember back when a key was $99!

Oh well. I have my cable/key. I paid $499 for it a few years before TuneECU came out. Oh well, no regrets. I just wish he would release the 3x etc updates officially.

Does Tuneecu still only work on those weird PC's?

Is there an app for that?
