Very cool in a retro way IMHO, I'm sure it delivers- Marc

Only challenged if the challenge is to look like an antique

The Street and Speed Triples would p!ss all over that thing

Air cooled, I'm guessing it'll dyno (at best) 90hp, and it's a LOT heavier than a Speedie. Then there's that 'retro' suspension and chassis.

If I wanted retro, I'd still own my Thruxton.

S3 v Honda

The Honda looks a great take on the modern 'retro' style, not a performance machine, nor is it meant to be

The S3 has never been retro, is a naked performance machine, and is unbeatable in this sector for both looks and performance

Talking

I certainly don't think any S3 will be challenged from a performance or style standpoint, but the Honda will probably take a few sales away with it. It simply adds yet another choice. Most of us here on this forum know what we like, Speed Triples, and Speed Triple like style and performance, but how many time have you heard somebody say somthing like " I don't know if I should get a Speed Triple (or other sport bike) or a Harley" Hmmm, that's sort of like choosing between a Corvette or a Kenworth. Point is a lot of people don't know what they want. And they should probably start with the Honda until they really find out what floats their boat. It might be that Harley.
