This bike won't take a single sale from the S3. They have nothing in common. The Brutale 800, maybe. This Honda couldnt be anymore different than the S3.

If you are riding on the street at a <sane> ( read:7/10th's ) pace, the S-3 will hang with pretty much anything; the CB 1100 has a different mission, it's lazier geometry, more relaxed state of tune, extra weight and old-school suspension would leave you working quite a bit harder to keep up on a brisk sport ride.

I rode the original Superduke 990 for 4-5 years before buying my 2011 Speed Triple...Is it time to go back? Not really...There are and I think always will be issues with KTM: a fine collection of quality bits and pieces, but they just don't work together to produce a fine motorcycle as well as the slightly lower spec. "bits and pieces" on my Triumph.
