Nah the shoping centre one was black, I had to check too

I don't imagine they're easier to steal than other bikes tbh. Key immobiliser as standard and that?

That's great you were able to recover it! Someone was able to steal my co workers gsx, they put a screwdriver as a key ***? But they recovered it having no gas because they couldn't open the fuel cap.

Other Motorcycle: 2011 Speed Triple,
Got the bike back today, and credit where it's due i must say that the police, the insurance company, Bennetts, and the recommended workshop, JPS Dyno of Bishops Stortford, were all very professional and communicative in the whole process.
Got plenty of phone calls and reassurances from all parties, and the bike came back better than new. replacing all parts with new. Even got an upgraded seat (form the revised model, apparently)
So. Apart from missing five weeks of riding, all turned out fine in the end

Thanks for checking back in with the conclusion - Glad it all worked out satisfactorily for you.
Hopefully does not happen again!!
I think having experienced that, if it was me, I would extremely paranoid every time I parked the bike.
