I had to do it...

I hated to, but I traded in my 07 on an 09 Tiger. After many handle bar/seat/riser changes, long rides (3+ hrs.) had become painful on the S3. If a guy is in that much pain it's time to do something about it...right? The dealer made me an offer on the Tiger I couldn't walk away from, and with more long distance rides planned I couldn't say no. So until I can find a used S3R for the shorter rides (and pay off the Tiger), I wanted to say thanks for all the help and advice I've been given by this forum and it's members, I suspect I'll get the same treatment on the Tiger forum! Stay safe and upright, I'll be lurking...

I test drove your new bike this summer and was considering trading in my Speedy for the same reasons as you. The Tiger's riding position was super comfy and the bike was extremely clean-- congrats on your new purchase, it was a good one. I really like the staff at Team Triumph, glad you got it from them!

I have an older Tiger ('98 900) along with my '97 Trophy 900 and my Speedie, and I have to say the Tiger is the most comfortable bike I own for longer rides. Still working on the Speedie; but between the Spencer seat and the Carmichael 'Fat Bar' I'm pretty happy with the riding position.

But congrats on your 'new' ride!
