Yes, you are crazy! Seriously though it does look like a cool bike and definitely worth a test ride. And most importantly, if you like it, get what you like.
.
Just make sure you sell me that awesome flyscreen you painted if you get rid of your bike...I totally call dibs on that.

I've owned a 2010 street for about 2500km before to switch on the speed, and honestly, i think that the street engine is more fun to ride. I know, lot less torque, and when my girlfriends will be sitting with me, probably i'll regret the speedy, but.....the choice is realy hard to do...

Yep I'm with you, the Street is a far better bike imo.
Took a mates Street Triple out the other day, haven't had so much fun since I had my Street R!
My 12 Speed is already up for sale.

Please explain in a little more detail.? My 08 Speed is the most fun, best handling bike I have ever owned. I have sold all my other bikes after a year or two, lookin for the "perfect" fun/ all around bike. The Speed is a keeper. How/why would the Street be more fun? I know its lighter but there is no way the motor is more fun. A little suspension work and a pipe down low...perfect...Please give more info

I have my suspension tweak by a pro, and a 3-1 with a good maping, but i like smaller bike. The speed is a big bike. I don't know, i like my speed, but a devil in my head tell me to try the street

When I took my friend's '11 StreetR for a ride, I loved how nimble it was. I missed the low end torque of the S3, but couldn't get over how easy it was to handle.
Either bike you go with, you can't lose!

Handles better, stops better, wheelies better, does stoppies better, sound insane with the extra revs. They're just a better bike, way more fun and the motor would surprise yo if you haven't ridden one, I don't think there's as much in the big bike as you think.
Honestly I think the only time I would pick the Speed would be 2 up riding or touring with a lot of luggage, but to me touring means you harden up and take whatever can fit in the backpack so no issue.
If you think the 08 Speed handles well you won't know yourself on a Street Trip. The 08-10 Speeds feel like big lazy boats to me, the 11+ Speed is a big improvement but still nothing on the Street Triple
