R&G Tail Tidy with Arrow Dual slip-ons. LED signal question.

Hey All,

I just bought a set of Arrow Dual slip-ons and plan on getting the R&G tail tidy kit. I know the factory indicators will not work without their adapter kit. I have a pair of Kellerman Micro 1000 LEDs and was wondering if those would fit in between the exhausts. I'd like to avoid getting the adapter if possible. The Kellerman Micro's measure exactly 2.75" long.

Thanks!

I have a set of adapters for sale if you need them.

Fit the adaptor kit with standard indicators, got them on mine and they look great in my opinion, plus people can't always see LED's

I thought the factory indicators were LED? And are you saying some people have trouble seeing LEDs vs plain halogen?

Maybe I was being a bit harsh on micro indicators, the ones you mention actually appear very good. They're not as small as some and have quite a few LED's. But looking at their size I'm not sure they'll fit without using the R&G adaptor anyway?

If you choose to fit LED's you'll probably need to fit a resistor too as the flasher unit won't normally work without sensing the impedance of a bulb.

If you want to see what mine looks like with standard indicators on R&G brackets it's on YouTube along with about 5 million others showing the same!

By the way, standard indicator bulbs are not halogen, that's only used in the headlamps,

Im sure triumph make an led flasher relay now for your bike then no resistors.
