Ive tried sprocket specialists, and other sprocket companies and cant find the one I need. Some people have posted on here about getting a 17 for their 05 or 06, but nobody has been able to say exactly where they got it from or the part number. Does anyone know where I can get one.

They should be in stock at your local dealer. If not I am sure they can order one for you.

How many miles on your original chain and sprockets now? I try to replace both sprockets and chain every 10,000 miles or sooner depending on wear.

How about the folks at Tsubaki can they help?

Take care!

If you send me a check for 15 bucks, I'll send you a new 17 T CS sprocket. I used it for one ride and took it off.

Are you sure an 01 front sprocket will fit the 05?

I would think so. I can email you a pic of the sprocket, and you can pull your cover and see if the splines look the same. Or ask your mechanic.
