Like the title reads, anyone done the mod? I have my Brembo Radial brake master just sitting on the shelf waiting for the Triple to arrive.

So will the brake line reach? Anyone with pics of the stock master?

Also I purchased a hooligan brake res., how do you guys like them and are they a direct swap? ie mounting points?

will keep everyone posted first step is to get that 06 in the garage :-D

Im thinking that the brake line may be too short

Cheapbastard, when done the brakes will involve very little effort, should be able to do one finger stoppies if one wanted to.

I have a 19X20 on my 748 and love the feel its all brakes right now with two fingers. Some like a little more brake feel so they go with the 19X18.

I beleive this is one of the best and cheapest mods one can do to a bike.

Suprised know one on the board has done it to there 05+ seeing that some complain about excess travel of the stock master.

you can get them from just about any aftermarket brembo parts dealer. motowheels, yoyodyne etc..

or you can usually pick them up used or new on ebay for around $200.

The only other bits you need are some brake tubing, maybe some aluminum to make a bracket depending on where the reservoir is on the S3.All very cheap and you can get some clear brembo tubing from yoyodyne for $8 per foot.

Im thinkin we may need a new brake line from some of the very few pics I have seen.

I talked to Richard at Hooligan Racing and he said he can have the lines made, I just need to come up with length and what bends I need.

hey bmess, thanks for all of the info man! Now I just need to save a little $. I think I will definately have to buy one of those if it makes the difference you say it does! So no one else has tried on of these? Not even on a pre 05 S3? Come on guys, there's got to be someone out there that's done this mod. I'm curious to hear what a S3 owner has to say about what improvements it made.
