I think I want this Speed Triple
Hey everyone!
So I have been doing the research for a bit now about the bike, reading articles, youtube videos, lurking forum threads about questions, So being a 6'3 guy a speed triple should not be dwarfed by me because it sits a little taller than the street and I dont want to mod my T100 to become faster when the Dual round headlights call to me. It was either that or a THruxton but as much as I love the THruxton's look, I have grown accustomed to the speed of the Bonnie and kinda wanting a little more oomph. Ive come across this little bike here in Irvine and it has a few miles on it, I want to get everyone's opinion on whether it would be a good move to pull the trigger on an older speedy, provided it has 39k miles and is kind of a green color I really dont care much for, but I can stand to paint it I suppose. On the plus it does have a power commander and an arrow exhaust already

The ?speed? of a bonnie?? The thrux and the bonny have the same oomph which is to say,,,,,,not much compared to the green demon in your picture Fair warning at 6 foot 3 your a big boy for a s3,some will say your not but Im just 6 ft and found the s3 rather cramped. Get a tiger, dont look back, same engine and can easily be a scratcher as well as a very fast tourer.

haha I got used to the speed of the bonnie. Maybe I have flexible knees or something haha, I learned to ride a motorcycle on an CBR400 like 3 years ago so I guess i learned to ride with my knees all crazy bent up. And for the Tiger.. I sat on it when I went to the dealership last, and I just couldnt get to like the dirtbike feel for it, I like being able to plant my feet on the ground comfortably. Being on my Tippy toes kinda freaks me out

That "kind of green color" is called roulette green and it's a beautiful shade of green. Shame on you for suggesting to defile that bike with painting it. Pure blasphemy.

hahah sorry maybe i Have to give it a chance, green is actually one of my favorite colors. All I'm really interested about is if it would be safe to consider getting the bike since it has 39k miles on it already.

I'd say get it... if it wasn't at least $1000 overpriced. That's the going rate for a low mileage 2008 model, according to a quick scan of Craigslist. The age and mileage isn't an issue, but that really is top dollar, especially this time of year.

I did not see the price on my first look . A little high . 6,499$
Get the price knocked down 6-800 $ then sell the Power Crapmander on Ebay .
If they won't budge I would still pay it . Premium for the best looking wheels and body work
I mod therefore I am
