2011 speed trip as a track bike

Really enjoyed the vid. Nice ride. Just curious and maybe this should be another thread. In the UK street bikes on the track don't have to tape the glass components or run water in the radiator. In Colorado (USA) we must make those small changes to protect the track in case of a spill.

thats correct. i rode there, rode round and rode home. no taping or fluid changes. all the "glass" bits are plastic anyway so it would be no different to smashing bodywork.
